My Obligatory, Inaugural Post

Every newsletter needs an inaugural issue. And I guess that's what this is. My first post.

At the risk of underwhelming you, I'm going to keep it short and sweet. This first-ever newsletter of An Untethered Life is dedicated to you, my reader. It's a straightforward "thank you very much" for taking time out of your day to read this and for the time you may or may not take to read more of my stuff down the line.

Whether it's here in my newsletter or on Medium, where I blog, it's my readership that keeps me going. I'll always remember and appreciate that, without you, I'd just be writing into the void.

And I've got a couple promises to make as well:

  • I promise not to sell you shitty products or services I don't use just so I can make a quick buck.
  • I promise not to sell your info to some shady information broker.
  • I promise not to bullshit you about my life or make insane promises about the life you can lead.

Basically, I'll stick to writing true things about stuff I'm familiar with. And I'll make every effort not to steer you wrong. It's the least I can do in exchange for you reading my words. Thanks again!

Until next time,

Steve
